LOFTUS WATER LANE NZ 7218 (west side), Loftus. 4/71 Boundary wall between Kingdom Hall and Dam Street. - II Boundary wall to former grounds of Nos. 12 and 14 Hall Grounds(q.v.),early C19, Coursed sandstone rubble on east face, brick with dressed sandstone buttresses on west side. Steeply ramped and curved up bank to Kingdom Hall. Curved-topped copings. Varied in height between 3.6m at north end to 6m in middle. Offset buttresses. Three courses of stone and copings missing from south end of wall at time of survey. Important townscape feature prominent in views of town from south.
