LOFTUS SOUTH TOWN LANE NZ 71 NW (off west side), Loftus 1/68 Walled garden, c.40m south-west of Handale Abbey Farmhouse. G.V. II Wall enclosing garden/orchard, C18. Random sandstone rubble with remains of dressed copings. Enclosing roughly rectangular-plan space with entrance at south end of east wall. May incorporate medieval masonry from adjacent site of Cistercian Priory. Included for group value.
