11/70 Barn to north-east of Cartuther Barton forming south east wing of farmstead GV II
Bank barn with shippons, threshing floor and granary. 1849, erected for Samuel Kekewich. Datestone S T K. Rubblestone with large granite lintels to 1849 openings. Slate roof with hipped ends. Symmetrical 2 storey north west front. 2 double doors to ground and first floor flanked by rubblestone piers with granite corbels and roof continued down over to form hoods. Window openings flanking with 2 shippon doors near centre. Central added steep flight of stone steps leading up to first floor. First floor with 5 openings with double shutters with 2 double doors to threshing floor. Datestone above central opening. To rear, roof continues down over 2 entrances with shallow rubblestone flanking walls and granite corbels to form shoulder arches. Double plank doors. Opening to right and where ground slopes down to left. Opening on ground floor.
