Shop and flat. Late C15 to early C16, heightened and refronted in early C19. Timberframed with rendered exterior. Slate roof behind moulded cornice and parapet. Red brick stack to right hand side. Three storeys; 1 window. Second floor has 12-pane sash with architrave surround. First floor window has 8:2 vertical sash with moulded architrave with C20 head. C20 shopfront. Interior ground floor has common joists of oak heavy horizontal section and framed into the rear midrail with centre tenons. Open motice survives as evidence for the jetty brackets and a previous transverse partition. First floor has wallframe with long curved brace and C16 chimneystack. Chamfered spine beam and plank cupboard with old hinges. Second floor was added in the C19. Originally nos 17 and 19 were one house.
