PILLATON SX 36 SE 5/193 Pair of monuments to Smith and Seage, in the churchyard against the west wall of south transept of Church of St Odulphus GV II Headstone and ledger stone. C18. Slate. Headstone with round head, with cherub's head with wings at the top; to Grace Smith, aged 3 years and 6 months, 1742/3. Rectangular ledger stone, with incised border, central panel with carved cherub with wings, hourglass and crossed bones, skull with 2 skeletons with scythe and hourglass, cherubs at the corners. Central panel has valedictory verses, inscription around border to Peter Seage, 1743.
