GV II
Headstone and ledger stone. C18. Slate. Headstone with round head, with cherub's head
with wings at the top; to Grace Smith, aged 3 years and 6 months, 1742/3. Rectangular
ledger stone, with incised border, central panel with carved cherub with wings,
hourglass and crossed bones, skull with 2 skeletons with scythe and hourglass,
cherubs at the corners. Central panel has valedictory verses, inscription around
border to Peter Seage, 1743.
