against the south wall of the nave
of Church of St Mary

Headstone and footstone. C18. Slate. The headstone has a rounded head with 2 putti
carved in relief supporting a central roundel, crossed bones to left side.
Admonitory verses and inscription to Mary Brown, 1734/5. The date of death was not
known exactly, alternatives given on both stones. The footstone has a plain nowy
head, with carved primitive skull with crossed bones, to M. Brown, 1734/5.
