GV II
Mill, now dwelling, circa late C18 with early C20 extension to rear and on left-
hand gable end. Converted to dwelling in mid-C20. Rubblestone with slate roof with
large projecting stone stacks with brick shafts at gable ends. Rubblestone extension
on left-hand gable end with corrugated lean-to roof.
Originally 2 storeys, heightened to 3. Symmetrical 2 window, west front.
Central 6-panelled door beneath timber lintel, flanked by two 2-light casements with
glazing bars (right-hand circa early C20 and left-hand circa late C19). Above two 2-
light circa late C19 casements with glazing bars 6 panes each. Slate hood between
first and second floors where roof heightened. Smaller 2-light circa late C19
casements 6-panes each above. Lean-to on left-hand gable end with stable door with
window above under timber lintel and C20 window to left. C20 windows in left-hand
end. Cloam oven projection originally on right-hand gable end.
Interior not inspected.
Sites and monuments register suggests that wheel was situated between building
and ruined foundations of smaller building.
