Details
ST CLEER COMMONMOOR SX 26 NW 10/76 Hendrifton Farmhouse - II Farmhouse. Probably early C18, with addition of circa mid C19 and some later alterations. Slatestone and granite rubble, painted, and the front slate-hung. Slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends; gable end stacks with shaped top to left. Slurried slate roof over the rear outshut. Plan: 2-room plan, each room heated by gable end stack, with central entrance. Unheated outshut along the whole of the rear, of later C19. Exterior: 2 storeys, asymmetrical 5-window range; all windows C20 casements. At first floor, all 2-light casements. First floor level slate-hung. Ground floor has 3-light casement to left, C20 porch with pitched roof and inner glazed door to centre, two 2-light casements to right. Small single storey rubble shed attached to front right. Right side has external stack. At the rear, the outshut forms a catslide roof; there is a stable door to left, 2 single lights and a 2-light casement to right. Left aide and interior not accessible.
