LANDRAKE WITH TIDEFORD ROAD, (north side), SX 36 SE ST ERNEY Landrake 3/38 Rose Cottage

GV II

House. Possibly early C18, with alterations to windows of mid C19 and some later alterations. Stone rubble, rendered and lined out. Asbestos slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends, rear lateral stack to left. Plan: Double depth plan, with central entrance to passage and room to front left and right. Shallower rear service rooms and passage along the left side for rear access. Exterior: 2 storeys, nearly symmetrical 3-window range, with C19 windows, all 16- pane sashes at first floor. Ground floor has central half-glazed door with mid C19 cornice on consoles; wide 6-pane sash to right, wide 24-pane sash to left. End left has half-glazed door. Rear and interior not accessible at time of survey (July 1986).
