Pair of attached houses. Late C18/early C19. Slatestone rubble, slate-hung front
and sides; slate roof with ridge coping. Gable end stack to right to no. 2, rear
stacks to no. 1.
No. 1 to left and no. 2 to right. No. 1 has central entrance to stair hall, with
room to right and left; it has a lower roof level than no. 2 which has a side entrance to
right with C20 porch, leading directly into the room to right.
No. 1 of 2 storeys and 2 windows, 12-pane sash at ground and first floor to left,
plain door in gabled wooden porch to right. Left side has porch with pitched roof
with 6-panelled fielded door in moulded frame. C20 2-storey addition to rear left
with window at ground and first floor. No. 2 of 2 storeys and 2 windows, all 12-pane
sashes with slate string over ground floor windows. Right side has external stack
and C20 lean-to porch with door.
