Details

LANSALLOS THE WARREN, (south side), Polperro SX 2051-2151, 2050-2150 5 & 6/140 Harbour View (previously listed as Harbour View, Warren Road) 21.8.64 GV II

House. Circa early C19. Stone rubble with slate roof with gable ends. Stone rubble chimney stacks on gable ends. Single depth plan, 2-rooms wide. Built into side of hill with 1 storey and attic elevation to the Warren and 2 storey and attic elevation to the harbour with front wall rising from the stone rubble harbour wall. Almost symmetrical 2-window front to the harbour with C20 2-light casements without glazing bars. Ground floor with larger opening flanked by 2 smaller openings. 2- window openings on first and second floor, the latter beneath raked dormers. Asymmetrical single-window range to the Warren with partly glazed C20 door with timber lintel and C19 4-pane sash on ground floor and 2-light casement above. Interior not inspected. Included for group value as an integral part of the harbour scene.
