House, probably with fish cellars below, later restaurant and domestic accommodation. Circa early C18. Rendered stone rubble with cement-washed scantle slate roof with gable ends with at least 1 early crested ridge tile. Large stone rubble chimney stacks on gable ends and originally rear lateral chimney stack, now blocked and shaft removed. Plan altered but first floor originally 3 room with cross passage plan over fish cellars. 3 storeys, asymmetrical 3-window front. Ground floor with C20 16-pane window on left with part glazed C20 door adjoining, beneath slate lean-to roof. C20 2-light casement to right. Near centre, stone rubble steps lead up to first floor entrance which is part glazed and set back beneath gabled slate porch roof locally called an "orrel". First floor opening beneath timber lintels with C19 2-light casement to left with glazing bars. To right two 2-light casements. Second floor with 2 C19 gabled dormers with 2-light casements with glazing bars. To right, C20 raking roof dormer. Interior ground floor altered with some heavy reused timber ceiling beams. Lintels to fireplaces renewed. First floor with circa C18 ceiling beams. Roof timbers not inspected.
