ST MELLION SX 36 NE 8/20 Barn to west of Greenswell Farmhouse GV II

Shippon, threshing floor, hayloft and granary, now largely disused. Circa early to mid C19. Rubblestone with cement washed scantle slate roof with gable ends. 2 storeys almost symmetrical east front. Ground floor with 4 round arched openings, partly blocked. Opening on left hidden by C20 rendered extension with galvanised roof. Above central double plank doors to threshing floor with slate hood. To right, 2 slits. To left, slit with square opening in place of second slit. Single storey rubblestone extension with slate roof with gable end on left-hand gable end. 2 storey rubblestone extension on right-hand gable end with slate roof with half- hipped end. Left-hand side of roof to main range deteriorated. Included for group value with farmhouse.
