ST MELLION SX 36 NE 8/203 Barn to west of Higher Wollaton GV II
Barn with shippon beneath. Circa C,19. Rubblestone with slate roof with half-hipped ends. 2 storeys, symmetrical south east front. Ground floor with 3 round, cut stone arches. Above central double threshing doors with hood removed. Slits on either side. Rubblestone flanking wings on right and left-hand half-hipped ends. Right-hand wing contemporary, 2 storeys with half-hipped end. Left-hand wing adde of beneath lean-to roof. Rear with slope to central opening with slate hood. Flanked by 2 slits. Included for group value with Higher Wollaton.
