4/20 Game larder at approx 20m to rear of Trelissick House
GV II
Game larder. Circa late C19. Brick walls with polygonal dry Delabole slate roof surmounted by ventilator. Octagonal 1-room plan. Single storey. Door to west and original windows with traces of original zinc gauze used to keep flies out. Brick piers between. Interior has original central octagonal post with evidence for projecting wooden game hangers. Tongue and groove boarding under roof. An attractive and complete example of an uncommon building type.
