3/74 Trescore Cottage - GV II
Small house. C18. Painted slatestone rubble and cob walls, asbestos slate roof (originally thatched) with external stone stack with brick top to south gable end. This stack forms party wall of Rose Cottage, not included. 2 room , central stair plan. 2 storeys. Slightly irregular 3 window, east front. Nearly central doorway with panelled door and C20 gable ended latticed porch. Early C19, 12 pane, 2 light casement over and to other first floor openings. Closer spaced early C19, 16 pane, 2 light sashes to ground floor. Wooden lintels. Stump of chimney breast to gable end, right has quadrant oven projection. Interior is little altered with original floors, and stair between ovolo moulded pine muntin and plank partitions. Similar partitions between first floor rooms. Old ledged doors and original roof structure with pegged, lapped collars. Included for group value.
