GV II
House, later converted to shop. Early C19 front, C18 rear wing. Stucco front and
asbestos slate roof between adjacent buildings. Grouted scantle slate to rear and
wing. Originally 2 room double depth plan incorporating earlier 2 room wing. 2
storeys. Symmetrical 3 window south, road front. C20, plate glass, shop front with
central doorway. 4-pane, horned sashes over in original openings with moulded stucco
architraves. Part of plinth survives and full height, incised scrolled pilasters to
left and right and moulded eaves cornice.
Wing has 2 mid C18, 16-pane 2-light casements to ground floor of east wall. Fixed
right to each window is original with heavy ovolo moulded glazing bars.
Interior of main part altered to create shop.
Wing remodelled internally C19. Included for group value.
