Small house. C18. Slatestone rubble walls. Wheat reed thatched roof, hipped to
left, external stone stack to gable end right. 2-room plan. 2 storeys. Symmetrical
3 window east front. Central C20 planked door in original opening. Original
flanking openings and first floor left and right opening have oak lintels of reused
ships timber with random spaced treenails. First floor middle opening is C20. All
C20, 12-pane 2-light casements. Large external breast to right gable has bread oven
projection. Cob rear wall has small central first floor window for stair.
Interior much renewed, fireplace partly blocked and further recess near fireplace in
back wall.
Raised pavement to front of house retained by earth and stone walling.
