4/41 Cross (formerly listed as 'Wayside cross near 30.5.67 Fentongollan') at NGR 855 427

The whole description shall be replaced as follows:

Wayside cross. C19 but in the form of a medieval cross. Granite. Chamfered shaft of different origins with straight hollow stops in later granite socket stone surmounted by a much weathered head of 2 arms and head. In the centre of head the remains of a raised design, weathered beyond recognition. Said to be reused window mouldings on top of a mounting block.

Wayside cross. Probably late Medieval. Granite. Chamfered shaft of different origins with straight hollow stops in later granite socket stone surmounted by a much weathered head of 2 arms and head. In the centre of head the remains of a raised design, weathered beyond recognition.
