House with shop. Early to mid-C19. Shale rubble with granite quoins and
dressings, hipped scantle slate roof with brick chimneys over side walls. 2 rooms
deep with wing on back to left and lean to shop extension to right. Symmetrical
front 2 storeys, 2 windows. Large ground floor windows flanking 6 panel door are
20-paned fixed lights. Door with similar window in lean to. Iron spikes on left
window sill. First floor has 16-paned sash without horns to left and 12-paned top
opening replacement window to right. All openings to main part are slightly arched
with granite voussoirs.
