Almshouses, C18, now a cottage. Timber-framed, part plastered, mainly tile-hung, roof tiled. 3 bays aligned NW-SE, aspect SW. Axial chimney stack at NW end of middle bay. Formerly 3 dwellings, now one, so it is believed that one chimney stack has been removed. Single storey with attics. 3 C20 casement windows, plain boarded door with shallow hood, 3 gabled dormers with C20 casement windows. Gambrel roof, gabled. The red clay tiles, both on the roof and on the walls, are arranged in horizontal bands of plain and scalloped tiles; about 1 metre at the base of the walls is left untiled, of white plaster. These tiles were made at the Maryon-Wilson family's own works at Hart Farm, Great Canfield, and appear on many local buildings.
