II
Late C17 house, now public house, extended in C18, C19 and C20. Timber-framed, weatherboarded on E and S, plastered on N and W, thatched. Originally of 3 bays, 2 storeys, extended to N by one bay in C18. Single-storey extension to S added in C19 half-hipped, thatched. Single-storey extension, brick with flat roof, added to W in C20. Some framing exposed internally, with cranked primary bracing. Against S end, cast iron pump with acorn finial, handle ending in knop, no maker's name visible.
