ST AGNES SW 75 SW 4/210 Wayside Cottages (formerly listed as Wayside & Tygwyn) 30.5.67 GV II

2 cottages-and adjoining former barn, now converted into living accommodation. Painted rubble walls. Scantle slate roofs. Gable ends except for one hipped end on former barn and hipped corner to the outer angle. Brick chimneys over partly walls and over left-hand side wall of former barn. Plan: Overall L-shaped plan, remodelled in the C20. On the right probably a former pair of 1-room-plan cottages (now one house); set back on the left on higher ground a 2-room-plan cottage (possibly originally a farm building) behind this is a former barn built into the bank on the left and with external stone steps up to central former threshing floor. Exterior: 2 storeys. Cottage on the right has 2 original window openings on the right; other openings, remodelled in the C20); other house has doorway with window above to the front and 2 windows to its left-hand wall. Barn has ground and first floor doorways in the same wall. C20 doors. C20 casement windows with small panes. Interior not inspected.
