House with shop. C18 house with shop front inserted circa mid C19. Granite ashlar front, otherwise rubble. Grouted slate roof with C18 wooden modillioned eaves cornice at the front. Tall brick chimney over right-hand gable end; left-hand end adjoins taller party wall.
Plan: Double-depth plan possibly altered in the C19. Shop in front on the right, entrance hall leading to stair of house on the left, parallel living and service rooms at the rear.
Exterior: two storeys. Three-window road front with original doorway on the left. Plinth; flat arch with projecting keystone over doorway. C20 door. C19 double shop front on the right has pilasters flanking the windows. Each window has pair of arch heads to former two-light windows. Moulded entablature over. Late C19 or C20 two-pane horned sashes to first floor.
