3/364 Building at approx 3m south west of The Old School House
GV II
Outbuilding, probably wash house, but part possibly used as a classroom in the C19. Circa early C19. Painted shale rubble walls, scantle slate roofs with gable ends and rendered external brick chimney to north gable end. Overall cruciform plan with each arm of cross as separate cell. Shaft of cross is main room and head of cross is later lean-to. Single storey. North east front with main room on left and projecting gable ended wash house on right. Main room has 2-window front with all openings grouped towards right. Doorway with ledged door between windows. Fixed 16-pane light to taller left-hand window and fixed 20-pane light to right-hand window. Wide doorway with ledged door in angle to side (south east) wall of wash house. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
