Post office and shop, with accommodation, originally shop with 2 flanking cottages. Circa early C19. Painted killas rubble walls, granite steps, sills, jambstones and ground floor lintels. Asbestos slate roof with painted brick chimney over right-hand gable end. Plan of 2-bay central shop 1-room width cottage to either side to rear and single- storey shop on right-hand side. Right-hand cottage now incorporated into shop. extended C20 at rear right of main shop. 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3-window front with double shop front with central doorway. C20 top-glazed door with blocked overlight. 20-pane flat shop window on left and 24-pane bowed window on right, both with narrow pilasters and fascias with complete entablature. Doorways to cottages left and right of shopfronts. Left-hand doorway with panelled door and blocked overlight and right-hand doorway with 6- panelled door. 4-pane horned sashes. Single-storey building on right has wide doorway, left, and original 2-light casement with 12 panes per light to middle of front. Interior not inspected.
