Pair of houses in row. Circa early-mid C19 or remodelling of C18 house. Granite steps. Stucco to ground floor and slatehanging to first and second floors. Partly slurried asbestos slate roof with gable end, right, and adjoining No 7, left. Cast iron ogee gutter. Double depth plan with one front reception room to each house, passages, against ground floor party wall, but presumably one house is larger to first and second floors, and service rooms to rear. Three storeys. Symmetrical three window south west road front. Two doorways to middle with narrow pier between and both under moulded hood on moulded consoles. Original six-panel doors with late glazing to top panels. Rusticated stucco quoins strips and projecting keys to ground floor. All windows are circa late C19 four-pane
horned sashes.
