House and adjoining cottage, now 1 house. Circa late C18. Painted rubble and cob walls, slate sills, wooden lintels. Thatched roof, C20 lean-to of low pitch to rear. Rendered chimneys over gable ends. Plan: originally 2 room house left and single cell cottage right. The house had larger kitchen left and parlour right with entrance passage between; the cottage entrance passage at the left. All remodelled in the C20 and extended at the rear. Regular 3 window south front with doorways between windows. C20 partly glazed doors and C20 12-pane casements. Interior not inspected. Despite some C20 alteration this house is an important contribution to an unspoiled group of houses at the head of Gillan Creek.
