Group of 6 chest tombs. First date 1795 - last date 1868. To Hendy family. Incised
rectangular slate slabs over low stone chests.
Nos 1-6 from south to north:
No 1: Mary Ann Hendy, died 1826 aged 4 years.
Samuel Hendy, died 15th March 1827 aged 4 months.
Samuel P Hendy, died 13th Oct. 1828 aged 1 month.
All children of Gwills (qv) of this parish. Indecipherable epitaph.
No 2: Joseph Hendy, died 1800 aged 48.
Samuel, son of Joseph and Elizabeth Hendy, died 1818, aged 20.
No 3: William Hendy died 1795 aged 89.
Catherine, wife of John Rowe in parish of Gunwalloe, grand daughter, died 1868
aged 73.
No 4: Indecipherable.
No 5: William Hendy, died 1794 aged 47, and others.
No 6: -, widow of William Hendy, died 1795 aged 85.
