SW 63 NE CROWAN
2/110 Higher Bolitho Farmhouse - II
Farmhouse. Circa early-mid C18. Granite rubble with granite dressings, the front slurried. Steep corrugated iron roof (formerly thatched), large rendered stone chimney over original left hand gable end. 2 room plan with central cross passage plus later lean-to at rear and circa early-mid C20 1-room extension at the left hand side. 2 storeys. Very low 2 window front with 1st floor windows just above ground floor lintel level. Central doorway with 4-panel door within small open-fronted gable ended slate-roofed brick porch. 4-pane horned sashes in original window openings. Interior not inspected. This is one of the least altered small farmhouses in this area, formerly one of a group of small houses, the other houses now used as farm buildings.
