SW 62 NW BREAGE CHURCHTOWN, Breage 7/34 Chest tombs at approx 1m east of chancel of Church of St Breaca

GV II

Group of 3 chest tombs. Late C18 or early C19. The chests are arranged close together with their sides parallel and orientated east-west; no inscriptions decipherable. The south chest has coursed granite sides, moulded granite lid and broken inscribed limestone slab over.The middle chest has dressed granite slab sides and inscribed slate slab set between.The north chest is double with dressed granite monolith sides and round-headed ends joined by iron staples.
