7/35 Cornish monument at approx 4m north of north transept of Church of St Breaca
GV II
Monument. C18. Granite ashlar monument. Slate inset into a pedimented front with an integral buttress with moulded set-offs behind. The pediment is triangular. The incised slate (now loose) has west facing inscription to : Nicholas Cornish, died 1793 aged 80 and Ann, wife of Nicholas Cornish, died 1794 aged 72. This monument is very similar to the Carter monument also in this churchyard.
