GV II

A terrace of 7 houses. Early C19. White brick and slate roof. 4 internal chimney-stacks with large rectangular shafts and corbelled caps. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and cellars. 8 window range, all 12-paned sashes in plain reveals with flat gauged arches and projecting stone sills. Between each pair of upper windows are 2 blank window openings: at No.46 with a false window painted on it. Entrance doors, original 6-panel to Nos 45, 47 and 48, are set in pairs below the blank windows: semicircular brick arched surrounds with plain reveals; blank fanlights. A recessed cast-iron foot-scraper between each pair of entrances. INTERIOR: not inspected.
