BLISLAND WATERLOO SX 17 SW 9/88 Trehudreth Mill 2.5.72 GV II
Water mill. Circa C17. Stone rubble. Slate roof with hipped ends. Plan: Rectangular plan, built into bank with bed rock forming base of rear wall. Overshot wheel (removed) originally on left hand (north) gable end. Entrance on front right and external steps up to original loading door on right hand gable end. Exterior: 2 storeys. Circa C19 single storey outshot to left of stone rubble with lean-to slate roof. Granite doorframe to right with chamfered lintel and jambs with straight cut stops. First floor with remains of mullioned window near centre and window to left. External stone rubble steps on right hand gable end. Interior: Machinery partly surviving for 1 direct drive wheel and 1 geared wheel. 2 pairs of stones on oak table hurst. One of few surviving timber wallowers in Cornwall.
