ST GENNYS CRACKINGTON HAVEN SX 19 NW 4/48 Trehole Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. C17 partly remodelled circa C19 with C20 additions. Rendered slatestone and cob, slate roofs, some renewed. Main range 1 room deep with gable end stacks; brick chimney at left gable end, cob at right gable end. Projecting wing at rear left forming L-plan. Range extended or possibly remodelled to left circa C19. Circa C19 rear addition rear right and further additions to rear of wing and rear left of main range. 2 storey, 3 window range with C20 glazed porch with corrugated plastic roof. 2 ground floor windows, renewed casements. First floor windows left and centre are renewed 2-light casements under probably re-used granite lintels. Central window retains hook hinges. First floor window right circa late C18 2-light casement. Right return of main range has 3-light hollow- chamfered mullioned granite window to ground floor and 3-light casement with some square leaded panes to first floor. Ground floor room right has chamfered ceiling beams with straight cut stops; fireplace with chamfered granite lintel, now painted gloss black. Exposed principals in 2-bay rear wing halved and face pegged. Oven at right gable end of main range.
