TL 6222 GREAT DUNMOW CHURCH STREET (E side CHURCH END 7/24 Angel and Harp P.H. No. 16 GV II

Public House. C17, timber framed and plastered, 2 storeys with gabled peg tile roof. Gabled single storey peg tile roofed block at N end and continuous peg lean-to at rear with short slated lean-to inset. Front has 5 double hung sash windows with moulded surrounds and small panes, over central C18 door surround with flat hood on squat scroll brackets and continuous moulded architrave. Also, hipped central bay window with similar windows, on double hung sash window and 4 small C20 windows. 2 large stacks behind ridge line and 2 small flat roofed dormers in rear slope. Some leaded light cast iron casements in rear elevation.
