CARN BREA CARNKIE Chimney approx. 30 metres east of Vanner house to Wheal Basset Mine

GV II

Chimney associated with former tin mine, now derelict. Probably later C19. Uncoursed granite rubble and some brick. Tapered cylindrical form with no cornice to the stone stage, most of brick upper stage now missing. Part of group conspicuously sited on northern slope of Carnmenellis. Reference: Palmer & Neaverson, op.cit.
