CARHARRACK PENNANCE ROAD SW 74 SW (south side) 6/120 Footbridge over line of former Redruth-Chacewater Railway II

Footbridge over former railway. Constructed c.1853 by the Redruth and Chacewater Railway Company. Wrought iron, with granite abutments. Very simple structure made of slender H-section iron rails (perhaps manufactured as rails for rolling stock) bolted to uprights of the same material to form protective railings on each side of a simple plank deck over the track, on the inner side of the stone approach ramps which run parallel with it from the west, and on one side of an approach path on the south side.
