EGLOSKERRY PENHEALE SX 28 NE 8/60 Lodge at south entrance to Penheale
GV II
Lodge. Circa mid C19. Stone rubble. Regular slate roof with gable ends. Three diagonally set pots to brick axial stack. Plan: Overall 'T' shaped plan with one room on either side of central entrance and third room in centrally placed rear wing. Tudor Gothic style. Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical single storey front elevation with central gabled integral porch with 4-centred arch and cusped bargeboards with pendant finials flanked to right and left by C19 2-light casements. Left hand gable end fades road and is of 2 storeys with a canted C19 bay window on ground floor and C19 2-light casement above with pointed headed lights in a 4-centred arch. The decorated barge boards which are cusped and have pendant finials continue around the front and side elevations of the lodge. Interior; Not inspected.
