ST BREOCK ST BREOCK SW 97 SE 3/89 Lychgate at north entrance to Churchyard of Church of St Breock

GV II

Lychgate. Circa early C19. Local slate stone rubble. Lychgate forms the south entrance to the churchyard and is unroofed. It comprises of 2 stone rubble side walls with slate topped seats on the inner sides and very low central granite coffin rest. There are a flight of slate steps down to the churchyard on the south side and a pair of C19 wrought iron gates on the north side of the lychgate with a circa late C19 or early C20 overthrow with lantern.
