Farmhouse. Circa C17, partly remodelled in mid C19. Local stone rubble. Rag slate roof with gable ends, continued in catslide over outshot extension to rear. Parallel range to rear with slate roof with gable ends. Stone rubble end stacks. Plan: Interior not accessible and original plan uncertain; possibly originally of two room and cross or through passage plan, heated by end stacks. Small service rooms and stair to rear of passage added in circa early to mid C19 possibly contemporary with the rebuilding of the front elevation of the house. Originally detached parallel range to rear, possibly an outbuilding, was connected to the house in circa C20 by a narrow infilling extension. Exterior: Two storeys symmetrical two window front with central entrance and circa late C19 4-pane sashes. Blocked circa C17 granite chamfered surround to window in left hand gable end. Narrow window constructed of single piece of stone in left hand gable end of parallel range to rear. Interior: Circa C19 internal partitions appear to remain intact. The fireplace in the left hand room is partly blocked by a C19 surround but appears to retain the chamfered granite lintel and jambs. Circa mid C19 stair with stick balusters.
