House, converted. into public house and converted back into house in circa mid C20.
Circa C17. Rendered and painted stone rubble. Cement washed rag slate roof with gable
ends. Rendered stone rubble stack on left hand gable end and brick stack on right
hand gable end. Brick shaft to projecting rear lateral stone rubble stack.
Built into side of hill with ground rising to rear. Probably three room and cross
passage plan with lower end (right) and inner room (left) heated by end stacks and
central room heated by rear lateral stack.
2 storeys. Asymmetrical four window front. Ground floor; three C19 16-pane hornless
sashes, C20 part glazed door to right of centre and circa C20 rendered stone rubble
porch. First floor; C19 16-pane hornless sash, C20 8-pane horned sash and two C19 2-
light horizontally sliding sashes.
Interior not accessible.
