FORRABURY AND THE HARBOUR, Boscastle
SX 09 SE MINSTER
1/108 Pixie Shop
GV II
Stables, converted into pighouses and then into shop. Circa early C19, converted
into shop in 1957. Painted and rendered slate-stone rubble. Rag slate roof with
gable ends.
Rectangular plan. Entrance originally in left hand gable end with entrance to loft
in right hand gable end as ground rises to right. Entrance inserted in centre of
front elevation when converted to shop.
Symmetrical two window front with two granite 2-centred arched window openings
flanking central door. All openings on front are later alterations. Plank doors in
left hand and right hand gable ends.
Picturesque building on north side of Boscastle harbour.
