Two shops, dental surgery and accommodation above. Circa mid to late C19. Stone rubble with stuccoed front and slate hung left hand gable end. Slate roof with gable ends. Brick end stack on right hand gable end.
Plan: Double depth plan: shops on front left and front right with accommodation to rear and above. Central range possibly originally offices or domestic accommodation with two room double depth plan, entrance to right leading into hall with stair to rear and reception room on front left.
Exterior: two storeys and attic with basement on rear. Regular four window front with painted quoins and moulded cornice. Ground floor has C19 shop front to left with corner pilasters, moulded cornice and central entrance with canted shop windows to right and left. In central range, mid to late C19 sash with top glazing bar removed and moulded cornice on corbelled brackets; door to right with moulded cornice to doorframe and fanlight. C20 shop front to right. First floor has four segmental arched window openings with moulded surrounds, the cills supported by moulded corbels. Moulded cornice and three gabled full dormers, the centre and right hand dormers remodelled in late C20.
Interior not inspected.
Largely unaltered C19 range forming part of group and important for townscape value.
