Details
ST ERTH SW 53 SE 7/205 Barns immediately south west and - south of Tregenhorne Farmhouse
GV II Granaries over shippons, stables and cartshed. Circa early-mid C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Hipped grouted scantle slate roofs. Plan: L-shaped plan of 2 similar barns with principal openings facing into the angle plus integral lower cartshed and stable range behind the left-hand side of the left hand arm of the L ; single storey stable extension at the right-hand end of the other arm of the L with swill kitchen adjoining parallel behind and piggery parallel to the rear. The front left-hand corner of the piggery adjoins. Exterior: 2-storeys. Similar north and east fronts facing farmyard. Each front has doorway near the angle; symmetrical 2 window front a little distance from the angle (with central doorways and loading doorways over) and then each front is slightly different. Left-hand front has widened doorway, far left, and on its right a window with loading doorway (partly blocked) over. Right-hand front has doorway with window over and window far right. On its right is a single storey addition with doorway on its left. Left-hand return wing front (east) has wide arched doorway with doorway at either side, a loading doorway over the right-hand side of the main doorway, small window on its-left and another towards the right. Many old or original windows and doors. Interior: Not inspected.
