Chest tomb. Early C20. To Henry Richard Proctor FRS 1848-1927. Dressed granite. Rectangular-on-plan chest with ashlar sides and squared-edged lid set back and with inscription on raised strips. Henry Proctor was a distinguished scientist and father of Ernest Proctor (1886-1935), Sources : Painting in Newlyn 1900-1930.
