GV II

House in row. C18. Stuccoed front. Asbestos slate roof adjoining taller building on either side with shared brick chimneys. Plan: double-depth plan with large reception room, right and entrance/stair hall, left, and shallow 2-storey C18 wing at right angles to rear. Exterior : 3 storeys. Slightly asymmetrical 2 window south front. Stuccoed plinth, stuccoed rusticated quoins and C18 modillioned wooden eaves cornice. Doorway on left. Ground and first floor openings remodelled circa late C19 or early C20 and fitted with canted bays with mid-floor stuccoed cornices and hipped roofs. The left hand first floor bay window is carried on 2 simple Doric columns forming an open porch in front of the doorway. Horned sashes without glazing bars. Rear wing has a wide window opening with pair of 9-pane hornless sashes. Interior not inspected.
