Details

SENNEN LAND'S END SW 32 SE 7/332 Greeb Cottage - GV II Small house now used as craft shop. Probably C18, remodelled and extended in the C19. Granite rubble walls. Bitumen grouted scantle slate roof. Brick chimney over the right hand gable end of the original house. Plan: House part is now 1-room and there is a 1-room plan outbuilding on the right. Originally probably 1 1/2 rooms deep with large kitchen/living room on the right, small possibly unheated room on the left and 2 shallow service rooms at the rear. Eaves probably heightened in the C19. Exterior: 2 storeys. Slightly irregular 1 window south-south-west front. Doorway is left of middle, small window openings right and left of doorway and at first floor right of middle. C19 6-panel door, circa late C19 or C20 horned sashes except for some 4-pane fixed lights. Outbuilding on the right has C20 window. Interior: Simple interior with C19 stair against middle of back wall, C20 first floor structure.
