Guidestone. Probably C19. Painted granite monolith, of square plan, with
flat top, roughly hewn, with two holes where it was probably formerly used
as a gate post. About 90 centimetres high. Carved painted lettering in
upper case with serifs: TO ST AUSTEL and MEVA, for Mevagissey.
