House, later an hotel. Early C19. Stucco to front, slate hanging to right-hand return; dry Delabole slate roof with 3 barrel-roofed dormers to front. Double-depth plan. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attic; symmetrical 3-window front. 4-pane hornless sashes except for later central casement window over reeded pilastered doorway with open pediment, fanlight and panelled reveals; C20 glazed door. Rear, facing the harbour, has decorative cast-iron balcony and verandah. INTERIOR where inspected has most of its original fine quality details including open-well staircase, moulded and carved ceiling cornices and panelled doors. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: high rubble rear garden wall.
